Welcome to The Dawnay Playgroup

Hello parents and carers, welcome to The Dawnay Playgroup website. We understand that it is an important decision when choosing the right playgroup for your child. That's why we've put together all of the information that you might need to help you make the right choice.

We've been running for over 50 years in the heart of Bookham with a loyal team of eight experienced and qualified staff. Situated in the infant building of The Dawnay School with sole use of our permanent classroom and garden, our emphasis is developing through play experience.

We provide a stable and safe environment for children from the ages of two and a half to five years old and follow the curriculum guidance, as set out in the Early Years Foundation Stage. Each week revolves around a theme and through careful planning we aim to make the playgroup a stimulating fun and exciting place to be. Here are just a few of the activities and events the children can expect to enjoy:-
